Exceptions to the Tarriff

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

1. Stair carries are subject to an additional charge of $1.00 per 100 lbs., or a fraction thereof, after the first flight (6 stairs) for each additional flight of stairs.
2. Long carries in excess of 75 feet are subject to an additional charge of $1.00 per 100 lbs., or a fraction thereof for each additional 75 feet or fraction thereof, subject to a maximum charge of $75.00.
3. Elevator service is subject to an additional charge of $1.00 per 100 lbs., or fraction thereof, subject to a maximum charge of $75.00 per elevator.
4. Waiting time is subject to an additional charge of $95.00 per hour, or fraction thereof, subject to a maximum charge of $750.00 per day.
5. Guaranteed delivery dates are subject to an additional charge of $495.00.
6. Shuttle service will be provided at the following charges:

• Shipment Weight  Charge

• 3,000 lbs. or less  $300.00
  3,001 – 5,000 lbs.  $400.00
  5,001 – 7,000 lbs. $575.00
  7,001 – 12,000 lbs $875.00
• Note: Rates in this item are not subject to any percentage formula of increase.

7. Storage in transit at carrier’s facility is subject to a charge of:

Winter Rates: $0.35 per cubic feet or $.05 per lb.
Summer Rates: $0.45 per cubit feet or $.06 per lb

of shipper’s load after 30 days of free storage. Storage fees are not provided on a prorated basis.

8. Piano handling fee - $250.00
9. Motorcycle handling fee- $250.00
10. Crating of large television and plasma television sets- $250.00
11. After 21 business days past the shipper’s request for delivery, the shipper will be credited $15.00 per day the load is delayed.
12. Redelivery fee- $750.00
